NUMTECH has participated to the Inria@SiliconValley 6th annual workshop (BIS’2016) on June 8-10, 2016 at the Inria Paris Research Center with a one-day international conference on "Digital Sciences and Technologies for Health" hosted by the Futur en Seine innovation festival.
The annual BIS (Berkeley-Inria-Stanford) workshop is part of the joint research program Inria@SiliconValley. It is co-organized by Inria and its partners in California. The objectives of the workshop are to present the current status of ongoing scientific collaborations and to work on proposals for future ambitious joint projects.
During the second day, within the framework of the session dedicated to digital sciences and technologies for smart cities, Fabien BROCHETON, NUMTECH’s General Manager, has intervened alongside the INRIA on the matters "From the city to the street: modeling at a finer grain… yes, but how?" and "Merging Observational Data and Simulation for a Better Estimation of Exposure to Pollution".
For the international conference on "Digital Sciences and Technologies for Health", Pierre BÉAL, NUMTECH’s CEO, has taken part in the panel discussion "Internet of Things & Quantified Self" to discuss smartphone applications related to air quality information.
