Program details:
Day 1
Theoretical presentations and tutorials on computer
- Introduction to the theory of atmospheric dispersion
- General presentation of ADMS 5 software features
- Presentation of the interface
- Presentation of verification and reporting procedures
- TD: basic modeling
Simple modeling of a point source, calculation of average concentrations of pollutants over a long period, modeling of multiple sources and groups of sources, exploitation of the results in the form of graphs and cartography.
- Presentation of the basic meteorological data required and their format (including the simulation of calm wind conditions).
Day 2
Theoretical presentations and tutorials on computer
- Building modeling in ADMS 5
Formulation, validation and references, limits of use, guide to good practices
- Terrain modeling in ADMS 5
Formulation, validation and references, limits of use, guide to good practices
- Model of dry and wet deposition of pollutants (basic approach)
- Variation of emissions over time (.var, .fac)
Which approach is used depending on the modeled case?
- Presentation of the Mapper utility
Import of the ground plan, definition of sources, buildings, contour plotting...
