From March 11 to 16, NUMTECH proudly participated in Digital Cleanup Day, a global event dedicated to reducing the digital footprint which aims to raise awareness among companies and individuals about the environmental impact of their digital activities and encourage them to adopt more sustainable practices.

Our teams have therefore mobilized to collect non-functional electronic equipment (non-repairable or non-reusable) in order to recycle it responsibly.
In total, nearly 3.5 tonnes of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) were collected to be processed in standardized WEEE recycling channels. This action allowed the saving of around fifteen tonnes eq. CO2.
Thanks to these actions, NUMTECH managed to:
- Collect more than 200 obsolete electronic equipment of all types to send them to a suitable recycling channel,
- Pollute less and prevent these devices from ending up in illegal open-air dumps,
- Limit the extraction of new resources by recovering materials that can be reused during recycling and thus valorize the material,
- Promote local processing of recycling sectors and the associated necessary jobs.
Our actions do not stop there. NUMTECH is committed to continuing this momentum by integrating sustainable digital management practices into its daily life, by implementing:
- an internal policy of regular digital cleaning and recycling of equipment,
- raising awareness and training its teams on best practices.
NUMTECH is confident that these actions will help reduce its environmental footprint and inspire other companies to join this global movement for a greener future.
