Who are we?
Founded in 2000 from the meeting of atmospheric sciences and mathematical sciences, NUMTECH first deployed its expertise in modelling and understanding atmospheric phenomena: air quality, meteorology and health impact.
Driven by the environmental commitment of its teams, the company gradually expanded its fields of activity towards mitigating the environmental impacts of human activities. Today, risk analysis and environmental performance are fully at the heart of our work.
This expertise has been developed through internal R&D projects and with academic and public partners (University, CNRS, INRIA, Météo-France, INERIS, CEA…). Each year, NUMTECH devotes between 10 and 20% of its turnover to innovation.
Our mission: To help you understand and reduce the environmental impacts of your activities in order to collectively commit to preserving the environment and public health.

Local roots & international outlook
Based in Clermont-Ferrand since its creation, in the Puy-de-Dôme region, NUMTECH is deeply attached to its territory. In March 2025, the company moved into the Centre des Matériaux Durables (CMD), located in the Parc Cataroux, an initiative led by Michelin. This choice illustrates our desire to be sustainably anchored in an innovative and responsible ecosystem.
While cultivating this local proximity, we are developing national and international partnerships to put the scientific and technological excellence of our region at the service of global environmental challenges.
