In 2012, NUMTECH was selected by the US Department of Defense to develop a parameterization of the atmospheric boundary layer.
The model was integrated by NCAR into the new version of WRF.

Input data:

Yes, provided we have access to reliable measurement data. The quality of forecasts depends on the availability of data for the area concerned.
The NWFS system is designed for mesoscale data production, ranging from continental scale (such as Europe) to local scale (e.g. for Plum’Air® and Urban’Air® software).
We master our meteorological codes and can integrate any necessary parameterizations to provide the required data, whether calculated during simulation or in post-processing.
Yes, as part of our environmental performance service, we use climate scenarios to assess the climate resilience of industrial sites.
