AMBICITI, free mobile application now available on Google Play, was born from the association of « NOA » developed by NUMTECH and winner of the « Innovation » award of the computer simulation trophies 2016 organized by l’Usine Nouvelle and TERATEC, and « SoundCity » developed by INRIA (national research institute dedicated to digital technology) which has already collected 55 million noise measures worldwide. The Civic Engine, American company specialized in population health and public policies, is also involved in the project.
AMBICITI is above all a human adventure, created and carried by men and a woman aware of the impact of environment on populations’ living comfort and concerned about giving scientifically robust information, accompanied with a confidence index.
At a time when related mobile applications invade Internet, the challenge is the following : inform populations about their real exposure to multiple environmental pollutions (as of now air pollution and noise pollution, and other nuisances will be soon treated) everywhere in the world, with a precision until street level, in real time and for days to come.
