This is the number of meteorological data sent by NUMTECH to its customers in 2016!
In 2016, more than 3 millions meteorological data were provided by NUMTECH to its customers. Created to drive the main atmospheric dispersion models, the DAD data mainly concern meteorology (precipitation, temperature, wind, etc.).
The data provided are observations that come from the World Meteorolgical Organization network (SYNOP network) and/or data simulated at high resolution through NUMTECH’s meteorological forecasting operational system based on the American model WRF (Weather Research and Forecast) and its data assimilation modules.
DAD also comprises the providing of roughness and relief data.
