INGEROP selects NUMTECH as partner on the part "Air" for the project of Greater Rennes’s Urban Mobility Plan.
In September 2016, Rennes Métropole launched a call of tenders for a mission of assistance for the review of Greater Rennes’s Urban Mobility Plan. The consortium driven by INGEROP, in which NUMTECH is involved in the Air part, has been selected.
The main objective of the mission is to help Rennes Métropole and its institutional partners to create the new project of Urban Mobility Plan that should be approved in 2018, and to carry out the necessary studies for this review. Among these studies, the topics "air quality" and "greenhouse gas emissions" must be covered and will be entrusted to our experts: calculations of local atmospheric pollutants emissions, and greenhouse gas emissions emitted by road traffic, and atmospheric dispersion modelling of pollutants emissions for several scenarios, all at the scale of Greater Rennes (43 municipalities). The overall environmental assessment as required by the European Direction 2001/42/CE of 27 June 2001, will be based on the results of these studies. The study has just begun.
