Following the work carried out by its experts around Code_Saturne* on behalf of the French Navy (article), NUMTECH implements, for the first time, for one of its customers, a version of its Plum’Air® platform with this software as dispersion calculation code.
The use of CFD allows to precisely assess the impact of atmospheric releases from a site within the property lines and in a complex environment in which the transportation and the dilution of pollutants may be particular. This version of the system allows for the industrial companies equipped with it, to manage the safety of employees and people working on site in case of incidents. This deployment confirms and expands expected business perspectives for Plum’Air®.
