NUMTECH provided support to the working group set up by the French High Council of Public Health (HCSP) to answer a question about TiO2 NPs.
At a time when the European Union must make a decision on the classification of this substance regarding its carcinogenicity by inhalation, the HCSP has just published a series of recommendations "to protect workers and persons living next to sites where titanium dioxide nanoparticles are produced or processed".
This work follows a request given by the French ministries of health, of labor and of ecological and inclusive transition to the HCSP.
Thanks to NUMTECH’s skills in environmental health and coordination of working groups, the HCSP trusted NUMTECH to support it as project management assistance, notably for the production of the bibliographic synthesis and the drafting of the report which have been used as basis for the final advice emitted by the HCSP.
